Parking costs at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) vary depending on the type of permit and parking area.

<h3>Visitor Parking</h3>

Visitors to UCR can park in designated visitor parking areas without a permit during certain times and in certain lots.

• No paid permit is required when parking in Lot 6 Blue and Lot 13 Blue starting at 12:00 PM on Fridays through 6:00 AM Monday morning in the unreserved spaces.
• No paid permit is required when parking in Gold lots during weeknights from 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM Monday-Friday and all day on weekends.

Visitors can also use the ParkMobile app to pay for daily and short-term parking. The app accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

<h3>Student Carpool Permits</h3>

Undergraduate students living 3+ miles from campus who travel along the same route can purchase a student carpool permit.

• A minimum of 3 undergraduate students is required for a carpool group, and each group must register together in person.
• Carpool permits are valid in specific parking areas, including Big Springs 2 Parking Structure, Gold Lots 26, 30, 32, 50, and certain spaces in Lot 25 Student Recreation Center.
• Carpool permits are not valid in Residence Hall, Campus Apartment or Oban Family Housing lots, Pay-by-Space stalls, Disabled or Medical stalls, Service stalls, or any specially marked stalls.

<h3>10-Pack Permits</h3>

A 10-pack permit option is available for those who do not commute to campus regularly.

• Blue and Red 10-pack permits are sold based on availability.
• A 10-pack permit provides ten daily parking permits to use any day within the fiscal year.
• Permits must be reserved online in advance, and they are lot-specific.
• 10-pack permits are not valid in Pay-by-Space stalls, Disabled or Medical stalls, Service stalls, or any specially marked stalls.
