What type of math is on CFAT?
Numerical reasoning questions in this section of the CFAT assess your ability to solve number problems. Candidates should be comfortable with topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, percentages, averages, rates/ratios, and solving simple algebra equations.
What score do you need for CFAT?
Infantry is 18 out of 60 (needs verification). Officers is 20 out of 60 (needs verification). “The cut-off score for officers (who must have obtained a University degree) is the 25th percentile on the total CFAT score (in comparison to the officer applicant population).”
What kind of questions are on the CFAT?
The CFAT consists of 60 multiple-choice questions that are designed to assess your abilities in three separate areas. These include problem-solving, verbal skills, and spatial ability. There is a 45-minute time limit to finish the test, with individual time limits for each section.
Can you use a calculator during CFAT?
There is one correct answer for each problem. Read each problem carefully and decide which one of the four answers is the best one. You are to mark your answer on the answer sheet by blacking out the letter, which corresponds to your choice. Note: calculators are not allowed in the actual test.
